How to Knit- Beginner Scarf Tutorial

20181116_074122Hi Everyone!

It’s that time of the year again where we can pull out our hats and scarfs. I absolutely love fall and winter. It’s my favorite time of the year.

There’s nothing better than having a warm and cozy scarf wrapped around my neck in the cool morning air, with a beautiful hat, and some comfortable yet stylish boots. Since I’m a knitter now I decided I would make my own scarf and I actually happened to be quite successful in making it.

If you’re interested in finding out how you can create the same scarf keep reading below for the pattern.

2 bundles of yarn by Yarn Bee  called Dream Spun Delphinium (or any chunky yarn of your choice).

Knitting Needles (USA: 8mm, Size 11/ UK : Size 0)

Cast on 24 stitches

Knit each row until you reach 33 inches

Seam the ends together and the leftover tail.

  1. This is fantastic, my mom used to crochet and I learned a little bit, but I always loved the look of knitting and it seems you rarely see people doing it anymore. I love this post and found it helpful, would like to knit myself some blankets or scarf.

  2. My mom taught me to knit when I was little. We weren’t allowed to use needles. Instead she made us learn on pencils! It’s been so long since I tried, however, I need to start at the beginning.

  3. You did a great job! My sister-in-law knits but I’ve never been able to get into it. Maybe over the holidays I’ll take some time to try a small project like this scarf.
